Academic advising is a shared responsibility between you and your advisor meant to help you to reach your educational and career goals. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to make decisions about your life goals by creating a plan to reach those goals. Academic advisers can assist in this process by helping you to understand options, determine resources and, when necessary, identify alternatives. To be adequately prepared for registration, seek out academic advising before the registration process begins so that you are familiar with pre-requisites, degrees and programs, and transfer institution requirements.
Visit the Academic Advising center to learn about the range of academic advising and counseling services available to you. See Contact Information and Hours on the left hand menu for location.
